This was a dramatic make-over for a 1970s detached house on a quiet street in Cambridge.

A full height side extension was added and unusually we were able gain planning permission to match the existing ridgeline. The new rendered thermal cladding and re-modelling of windows and doors were vital for reading the redeveloped house as a whole. The development included adding 2 heat pumps which provide both heating and cooling and an array of solar panels.

The surrounding plot and garden were also landscaped with the help of Studio Hobohm.
